I took the students to the Michigan Dunes today for our last summer event. I always look forward to the Dunes and I think our students do as well. I can never seem to get bored with climbing up the ginormous dunes and running down them. I’ve got to give props to Heather, Cody, Paul, Isaac, Amber, Kaitlyn, Ly, and Megan (did I miss anyone?) for following me up the dune, down the other side, up and down the hill there (for a few jumps and a few laughs) and then back to up to the big hill for a quick run down.

I also learned a terribly important lesson about seagulls today. Yes they are rats with wings, but apparently fairly important to Michigan State park personnel.

All in all, it was a great day and I’m exhausted.
