Last night in our youth service we started a series of messages based on Doug Field’s H.A.B.I.T.S. program. Several days ago I had a bunch of our students get together to make a video for each week. You can find all of crew’s videos here, but I’ll post the new ones on this blog as we make them. The following video is the first of the series (the audio is a bit out of sync).

The first habit is Hang Time with God. It’s too bad that such a simple concept can be overlooked and ignored by so many who call themselves believers. I’m not sure why we think we can have a relationship with God and not spend time talking/listening to Him. A lack of devotion (hang time) leads to religion without relationship.

I’ve been trying to blog everyday, but Wednesday’s are tough because I’m at church all day. Basically, this post is just so that I can say that I’ve blogged seven days in a row now.

So what to say?

I’m tired.
Today was crazy.
Tomorrow’s going to be busy.
I need a vacation.
