I took the day off today because Bethany had to help out at Parker’s school. I had a busy weekend with our Speed the Light services, so I it was a good day to recover from the crazy schedule I put in over the weekend.

Actually, life has been pretty hectic in the past few weeks. I know that may seem trite to say (because everyone’s busy) but as I spent time with the family today, I realized that it’s been awhile since that last occurred with any quality.

In the morning I played with Kent and listened to him squeal as I tickled him. It’s amazing to see how smart he’s getting. Tonight he used a real fork to spear his food and eat it. He’s actually quite good at it now.

Parker played in the leaves as I used my new leaf blower to move them to the street for pickup. He would in front of me with various toys and balls to see how the blower would affect each one. Every once in a while, I’d give him a quick blast of air to the face which would send him off laughing to find another item to test.

Bethany made pork chops tonight that were amazing. I’m lucky to have a wonderful wife who laughs at my lame jokes.

Anyway, I’m not usually that personal on here, but it’s was a great day and I thought I’d share.
