Stealing baby Jesus seems to be a Christmas tradition for some people. Every year I hear about somebody’s plastic nativity missing the central figure (usually my father-in-law’s). Someone in Florida experienced this, so they decided to purchase a special statue with a GPS unit inside of it. Sure enough, the baby was stolen.
Thanks to the GPS, the police found the culprit…the lady across the street. She was arrested for grand theft. The statue is valued at a whopping $800 (what was it made of?) and the GPS at $400. The 18-year-old thief was put behind bars with bail set at $3,500.
