I had one of those “days off” where instead of relaxing I worked until around 8pm. I had an extensive “honey do” list in preparation for company tomorrow. It was exhausting, but very productive.
- 9am – Cardinal Fitness to work out with dug.
- 10:15am – First Whey Protein shake (why is the container so huge when its only about half full?)
- 10:30am – Trim bushes (I love power tools)
- 11:00am – Cut large branches off of bushes
- 11:15am – realize that there are several branches on our trees that need cutting
- 11:20am – cut off several large branches
- 11:45am – scolded by Bethany for cutting down branches (apparently the cut limbs will be an eye sore tomorrow when company is here)
- 11:50am – start cleaning up branches and put them on the east side of house
- 12:15pm – Bethany returns home w/ Burger King
- 12:16pm – Bethany “informs” me that branches must be moved to west side of house
- 1:00pm – Done with lunch, inflate kiddie pool, slip ‘n slide, and tire on my car with new air compressor ($10 @ Ace)
- 1:30pm – Start cleaning up trimmings and branches (Parker helps for 2 minutes and then goes off to play)
- 2:15pm – Move branches to west side of house, ruin tarp in the process
- 2:30pm – Trim the lawn with weed whacker (I love power tools)
- 3:00pm – Mow lawn.
- 4:00pm – Clean out garage with leaf blower (I love power tools)
- 4:30pm – Hose down juice-stained wheelbarrow (thank you, Kent)
- 5:00pm – put tools, toys, bikes, etc. away (thank you, Parker and Kent)
- 5:15pm – head to church to pick up some items I forgot to bring home (thank you, Erik)
