For the last several weeks I’ve been thinking about changing up the layout on my blog. I’ve been scouring the net looking for good (free) templates and came across this one. It has some nice built in features (Live Traffic thing, easy to edit links in the upper right corner) I was going to leave it alone, and then I started tweaking it and came up with this.
What do you think? Any suggestions for the color of the link buttons in the upper right corner? I’ve got some more work to do (change the background on the sides, change the color of the red “Go” button, adds removed, etc.), but I don’t want to put more time into it if it isn’t an improvement.

I liked em both…LOVE the live traffic. I liked your choice of colors on your tweak. I think the link buttons are fine…they change to a contrasting color to let you know which is highlighted, and for most surfers it should be enough. If you really wanted to change em, I would shade it like the right hand column, but again, if it isn’t a 5 minute deal, I wouldn’t bother.
Overall I think that it is a great template!
Nice template… the live traffic is a neat feature… I also like how you have links to your other sites/places! I agree with mike… the buttons are perfect the way they are! But do you lose your archives by switching?
